NOMINATIONS PARISH COUNCIL

Nominations for Parish Council will take place on Sunday April. 26.
Ms Alma Whittle is Chairperson of the Nominating Committee.

RULES FOR THE p.c.
A practicing Catholic Person
1.. Believes and Professes All that the Roman Catholic Church Believes and Teaches.
2.Attend the Mass Assembly of our Faith regularly on the LORD ‘s Day.
3. Receive Communion and goes to Confession during the Easter Season.
-a. Easter season is from the First Sunday of Lent until Trinity Sunday.
-b. Confession is necessary if one is conscious of committing a mortal sin.
-c. A mortal sin is a serious offense against the law of GOD. An action that spites the goodness of GOD. An action that kills relationship with GOD Our Father.
4. The Marriage committed to is recorded and recognized by the Catholic Church.
as a Sacramental Union.
5. Support of your Parish / Mission of the Catholic Church through your free will offerings.
6. One is Willing to share your faith with your Children and Neighbors.
-Sharing the experience, strength and hope of our Faith.


If you are willing to serve on the Parish Council submit your Brief Autobio
To Ms. Whittle or Ms. Mildred Lewis and it will be published in the Parish Bulletin.
The sooner the Bio is in the Bulletin the longer we will have to read it.
The top three names voted for will fill the three year terms.
And the next nominee will fill a two year term.
Left due to the resignation of a member for health reasons.
Ms. Whittle will explain this if it is not clear.

The Biography of Mr. Carlton Robinson
Carlton is an active member of St. Jude Church where he serves as president of gospel choir, Eucharist Minister, and member of the youth ministry committee. Carlton was recognized by Archbishop Thomas J. Rodi for 10 years of service working with the youth at St. Jude Church. Carlton is a member of the Knights of Saint Peter Claver, Third and Fourth Degree. On the local level, Carlton holds the position of Junior Knight Commander. On this district level, Carlton is into his second two-year term as Gulf Coast District Secretary. Achievements as a member of the Knights of Peter Claver have included receiving the 2007 Knights of Peter Claver National Junior Division Recruitment Award, receiving the first ever 2006 Gulf Coast District Junior Knight Commander of the Year Award. In 2002, Carlton was selected as one of 27 members of the Knights of Peter Claver from across the United States to attend the World Youth Day Celebration in Toronto, Canada with Pope John Paul II. Carlton assisted with the removal of documents and items out of the National Office of the Knights of Peter Claver in New Orleans a month following Hurricane Katrina.
